This website created by the PSI Southeast Asia Office for the implementation of the advancing trade unions rights in Philippines. Trade union rights remain the major challenge for public services workers regardless of the sector they represent. This project activities aimed to provide trade unions viable platform to increase their knowledge and capacity to act on and address trade union rights issues; to continue to work on increasing union power through organizing workers; to improve working conditions; ensuring women and young workers rights supported by affirmative gender policies; and thereby advancing and protecting trade unions rights in the Philippines. The affiliated unions are the main key actors and take significant role in the planning, identifying strategies and implementing the project that is critically important to achieve the objectives and goals promoting and protecting workers’ rights in the public sector.

The project is supported by Public Services International (PSI) with the Finish Trade Union (JHL, TEHY, Pro) and SASK
